Join the Pearson ECS PTA
A key component of the PTA environment is a strong relationship between Pearson staff and Pearson families. The Pearson ECS PTA provides a channel to build and maintain this relationship. The Pearson PTA supports the faculty, staff, and parents to help students reach their highest ability and potential. Some of our goals include:
- To reach out to and support Pearson's diversified student body and its families
- Supply Pearson students and staff with needed resources to promote student achievement
- Promote parent involvement through volunteer opportunities
- Provide parenting education opportunities to Pearson parents/guardians
- Foster Pearson community pride and spirit
Some specific examples of our programs are:
- Parent education nights
- Family math and literacy nights
- Dad/Kid movie nights
- Teacher continuing education
- Classroom grants to support curriculum
